Seit mehreren Jahren "füttert" die SL des KV Luzern den Blog wöchentlich mit den Informationen zur Pausenmusik der Woche und unregelmässig auch mit zusätzlichen Blogeinträgen.
Mit der Einführung der schuleigenen Lernplattform wird der Blog in die Plattform integriert werden und dort in einem neuen Gewand erscheinen, aber mit ähnlichen Inhalten.
Der Blog wird dadurch aber nur noch den Lernenden des KV Luzern zugänglich sein. Für all diejenigen, die den Blog jeweils von weit draussen im WWW mitverfolgt haben, ist dies deshalb der letzte Blogeintrag, den sie lesen können. Besten Dank für das Verständnis.

Sommer in der Stadt heisst Hitze, ausgelassene Abendstimmung in den Strassen und Gassen und natürlich auch sommerliche Musik.
Die Pausenmusik von dieser Woche «Summer in the City» stammt ursprünglich von der Gruppe The Lovin’ Spoonful und entstand im Jahre 1966. Coverversionen wurden von verschiedenen Interpreten aufgenommen, u. a. 1993 von Joe Cocker. Joe Cocker (* 20. Mai 1944 in Sheffield, England) ist ein britischer Rock/Blues-Sänger. Er ist besonders bekannt für seine Coverversionen und seine ei-genwilligen Armbewegungen während Bühnenauftritten. Den internationalen Durchbruch schaffte er ebenfalls durch die Coverversion «With a little help from my friends» von den Beatles.
Der Song kam zudem auch in der Eröffnungsszene des Actionfilms «Stirb langsam: Jetzt erst recht» und im Spielfilm «Verliebte Jungs» vor.

Moves like Jagger
Wenn sich Stars musikalisch zusammentun, ist ein Hit fast automatisch vorprogrammiert. So auch beim Duett zwischen Maroon 5 und Christina Aguilera. In «Moves like Jagger» huldigen sie dem Tanzstil von Stones-Frontmann Mick Jagger und stürmten damit die Charts.
Die Zusammenarbeit resultierte aus dem gemeinsamen Engagement von Maroon 5-Sänger Adam Levine und Christina Aguilera bei der US-Talentshow «The Voice», wo beide in der Jury sitzen be-ziehungsweise als Coach mit jungen Gesangstalenten arbeiten.
Bei «The Voice» performten sie dann «Moves Like Jagger» auch zum erste Mal live im US-Fernsehen. Der mit erbarmungslos treibendem Disco-Beat ausgestattene, energetische Funk-Track erzählt von einem Typen, der mit seinen Skills beim Tanzen das weibliche Geschlecht beeindruckt, und behaup-tet, er bewege sich wie Rolling Stones-Frontmann Mick Jagger.

Hello Goodbye
„I say hello, you say goodbye.“ Wieder steht ein Jahrgang vor den Abschlussprüfungen; in freudiger Hoffnung, nach Abschluss der nächsten intensiven Prüfungswochen bald definitiv ein strahlendes Goodbye „singen“ zu können… Aber das nächste Hello ist gewiss, sei es an einer neuen Arbeitsstelle, sei es in einer weiterführenden Ausbildung, sei es bei einem neuen Arbeitgeber … Wir wünschen den Abschlussklassen bei den anstehenden Prüfungen toi, toi, toi und alles Gute auf dem weiteren beruflichen und privaten Lebensweg … und würden uns freuen, Lernende im Rahmen eines Weiter-bildungsangebotes unserer Berufsakademie mit einem herzlichen Hello bald wieder begrüssen zu dürfen.
"Hello, Goodbye" stammt übrigens von den The Beatles und wurde im November 1967 veröffentlicht. Alistair Taylor, der dazumal im Beatles Management arbeitete, fragte dabei Paul McCartney wie er Songs schreibe. McCartney gab ihm auf seinem Harmonium eine Demonstration und bat Taylor das Gegenteil zum dem zu sagen was er singe – black and white, yes and no, stop and go, hello and goodbye. McCartney meinte später dazu: „It's a song about everything and nothing. If you have black you have to have white. That's the amazing thing about life.“ (en.wikipedia.org)

Die letzte Woche verstorbene Donna Summer war die Disco-Queen der Popmusik. Ihre Hits wie «Hot Stuff», «Last Dance», «Love To Love You Baby», «I Feel Love», «She Works Hard For The Money» und «Bad Girls» wurden zum Soundtrack einer glitzernden Disco-Ära mit Sex, Drogen, Tanz und extravaganter Kleidung. Mit ihrer musikalischen Vielseitigkeit überlebte sie die Disco- Ära der Siebziger und feierte in den Achtzigerjahren weitere Erfolge. Sie gewann fünf Grammys in unter-schiedlichen Kategorien wie Dance, Rock und R&B.
Die Karriere der in Boston geborenen LaDonna Andrea Gaines, wie sie eigentlich hiess, begann in München, wo sie zunächst in Musicals mitwirkte. 1973 wurde sie vom Produzenten Giorgio Moroder entdeckt. 1977 folgte der Synthie-Hit «I Feel Love» - Summer war schon damals mehr als nur eine Disco-Sensation. La Parranda
Lateinamerikanische Klänge bietet uns diese Woche Gloria Estefan (* 1. September 1957 in Havanna, Kuba). Gloria Estefan ist in den USA zu einer wichtigen Pionierin lateinamerikanischer Musik geworden. Alle Liedtexte wurden für das amerikanische Publikum zudem ins Englische übersetzt. Im Album Abriendo Puertas (aus welchem auch das Lied für diese Woche stammt) werden zudem alle Rhythmen und Lieder den Hörern auf Englisch erklärt.
Erste Anerkennung über ihre Wahlheimat Miami hinaus erntete sie als Sängerin der «Miami Sound Machine». Inzwischen ist sie auf der ganzen Welt bekannt, spätestens nachdem ihr «Reach» vom 1996 zum offiziellen Song der olympischen Spiele 1996 in Atlanta Estefan gekürt wurde. Apfelwoche im Dreilinden?! Im Rahmen ihrer selbständigen Arbeit haben sich drei Lernende der Klasse KE6b (Sabrina Hofstetter, Jacqueline Lang und Michelle Singer) mit der Frage beschäftigt, ob sich während der kaufmännischen Lehre bei den Lernenden Gewichtsveränderungen zeigen. 59 % der befragten Lernenden bestätigen, dass sie seit dem Beginn der Lehre den Sport vernachlässigen und 56 % haben während der Lehrzeit Gewichtsveränderungen bemerkt.
Die Gruppe schlug als Antwort darauf verschiedene Lösungen vor (Bsp. Apfeltag, Bewusstes Essen, Sporttag, Wasserflaschen, Stressberatungsstelle) und brachte einen Lösungsansatz, die «Apfelwo-che», zur Umsetzungsreife. Das Resultat geniessen wir in dieser Woche, indem im Sinne eines Pi-lotversuchs allen kaufmännischen Lernenden gratis ein Apfel abgegeben wird. Ermöglicht wird dies durch die freundliche Unterstützung des Schweizer Obstverbandes, der uns die Äpfel zur Verfügung stellt.
Der Song stammt übrigens von MandoPony. MandoPony ist ein Pseudonym für einen amerikanischen Musiker und sein Künstlername stammt von seinem bevorzugten Instrument, der Mandoline.
Was passt nicht besser zu heutigen Tag als seine Textzeile «It’s a beautiful day, keep the doctor away».
